Website ??????

Anyone know what the story is with the ATFC website?????
Seems a bit weird ....2 days to go to the first match of, not only the season but possibly the first match of a new era in football in Athlone

The general feeling around the town is "Nobody knows what the f##k is going on" where as back when when Roddy was announced as manager there was a great buzz around the place. There were people who hadn't been at a Town match in years who were talking about going down to have a look...... but now nothing. No offence to the Westmeath Indo but little token pieces on the back page doesn't cut the mustard.
Still, at 10 games in, if we are in the top 3 the crowds will come.....

C'MON THE TOWN

Absolute JOKE. The season hasnt even started and the club are already going backwards. Hopefully thats just off the pitch and the team can do the business on the pitch. The most important man at the club last year was John o Sullivan and he still hasnt been replaced. the club need someone in dealing with the day to day running of the club ASAP.....before its to late!!

Its ridiculous how things are run at the moment. Midlands Sport has said more about the game Saturday night on Facebook than Athlone Town Fc Official Page have.
I asked a week ago about a friendly game . Was told an announcement would be made later that evening. Still nothing.

I fear the worst while at the same time i am highly optimistic about on the field. I know for a fact we have a good enough squad to win this league and finally get out of the graveyard division which we have been stuck in for 17 years. But off the field im not so sure. There doesnt seem to be any positive news from the club. As was said before me, John O'Sullivan has not been replaced which is a disgrace. There is little or none advertising anywhere about saturdays match. Where are the club gonna support the wages when 100-150 people are coming to games.

I just dont understand why we seem to be the only club like this.
And you can be sure we will never get an explanation off the club
